Buggspray insect repellent for biting flies contains 25% deet and is us epa approved to repel mosquitoes which may transmit west nile virus, encephalitis, or dengue fever. It also contains two epa registered fly repellents so it effectively repels stable flies (ankle-biters), no-see-ums, deer flies, horse flies, and black flies (biting gnats). Also repels chiggers, ticks, and fleas.
One of the two fly repellents (mgk 326 - 2.5%) is used on horses to repel hordes of biting flies so it is extremely effective. The other fly repellent (mgk 264 - 5.0%) also acts as a snynergist to make deet and 326 work better to effectively repel a wide variety of insects. This combination makes this product the best insect repellent available, even better than 100% deet!
This product is a necessity when in countries/areas where insects and arthropods carry disease. It will work great on the sand flies in Iraq and the middle east.
