D: 150mm. S: robust, thick shell. The enlarged aperture always has 6 solid, finger-like projections. These are curved, including the lowermost. Only the uppermost projection is straight. O: blunt tubercles on the whorls and clear grooves. C: creamy white with brown speckled pattern. Interior apricot with very clear columellar folds, often darker in colour . H: d1: shalllow water, on coral reefs and sand. W: INDP. R:1. Size: 100-300mm.
