Coal Based Activated Carbon

UserBiz.com > Chemicals > Activated Carbon > Coal Based Activated Carbon
Our virgin carbon is made from select bituminous/anthracite steam activated coal. With a highly developed porous structure and huge specific surface area (600~1,800m2/g), it is used as an excellent adsorbent as well as a filter in such wide fields as water treatment, environmental protection, foodstuffs, chemicals, agriculture. We also offer acid washed, water washed and impregnated activated carbon. We can provide copies of our ISO9002 and NSF61 certificates from our subsidiary factories in China upon request.

Three representative forms of active carbon as follows:
1) Granular activated carbon (granulated activated carbon)

Specifications:
a) Particle size (mesh): 4 x 8, 4 x 10, 8 x 16, 8 x 20, 8 x 30,
12 x 30, 12 x 40, 20 x 40, 20 x 50
b) Iodine no. (mg/g) min.: 800, 900, 950, 1,000, 1,050, 1,100
c) CTC (%) min.: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75
d) Methylene blue (mg/g): 150, 180, 200, 220
