Components and functions: the main effective components of ginseng extract are Ginsenosides including Rh, Rg1, Rg2, Re, Rd, Rc, Rb2 and Rb1. Ginseng extract performs many functions to human body such as increasing amount of leukocytes, improving immune function, accelerating metabolism, strengthening constitution of human body, raising ability of cardiac muscle, anti-fatigue, improving hemopoietic function, and anti-senescence. Ginseng extract could be applied to treat coronary heart disease, menopause syndrome, latent diabetes, neurasthenic and anemia. It could also be applied as adjuvant for tumour treatment.
