The AV-70 electronic ignition module is designed to achieve contact-free ignition of air-fuel mixtures. This type of ignition module utilises transistor switches for magnet activation. The AV-70 module matches the original ignition module type 415 0 220 and 815 2 320 supplied by ALPINA. AV-70 is specified for installation in the ALPINA chain saw model 70.
