The colibri inkjet printing system is perfect for marking onto moving objects with porous surfaces(colibri 128) and also non-porous surfaces(colibri 64) where high definition and reduced print height are important.
By connecting 2 printheads to a single controller, it is easy to print the front and back of a moving product at the same time. In this way this machine can print two different texts on products moving along adjacent lines.
The colibri sets the standard in these applications, and it is simply assembled on conveyors and sealers with kobold mounting kits.
The system can be used as stand-alone, by inputting text and other parameters from the keyboard. The colibri can be also applied as an integrated part of a production process, and we are pleased to advise our clients on this. We have developed the necessary communication protocol for the colibri to interface through standard rs232 connections. An external print start can be sent to the controller using a plc or other external device, using the 8 pin i/o connection.
