The Liangzhu Culture dates from between 5300 and 4000 years ago, and was
distributed around the Taihu Lake region.
The bright and diligent Liangzhu ancient people made splendid achievements in both material and spiritual culture, which attract the attention of the world. They applied advanced plough implement in paddy field agriculture, produced black potty, jade-ware, lacquer-ware and even silk.
All of them led other simultaneous ancient cultures and made great contributions to the development of Chinese ancient civilization.
