Features:
1) Ingredients and concentration: the product is prepared by inoculating SPF
chicken embryos with weak NDV (LaSota) strain and IBV (H120) strain mixed
in different dilution and equal volume, then harvesting the infected embryo
fluids and adding suitable stabilizer followed by lyophilization. Live virus
concentration per dose: NDV≥106.2EID50; IBV≥103.6EID50
2) Properties: the product appears mild yellow spongiform and loose mass in
shape, is easily detached from vial wall and is solved rapidly after adding
diluent
3) The product is produced in the GMP environment with SPF chicken embryos
without any of the 19 foreign pathogenic microorganisms. The vaccine is
both pure and safe
4) The virus concentration is two times that of the national standard with
sure efficiency
5) Functions and uses: it is suitable to chickens of various ages for prevention
of ND and IB
6) Application and dosage:
a) The product is diluted with sterile normal saline or suitable diluents
according to the vial label
b) Nasal drip: each bird is dropped on nose with 1 drop (0.05ml)
c) Drinking immunization: drinking volume is determined by chicken ages:
generally with 2~10ml/bird for 1~20 days old chickens; and 10~20ml/bird
for 20~30 days old chickens
7) Precautions:
a) The product is exclusively used to vaccinate the healthy chickens
b) Vaccine should be stored in a cool and dark place and finished within
4 hours after dilution
c) Metal vessels can not be used for birds to drink vaccine water. Water
should be withdrawn for at least 4 hours before drinking, and normal
water be supplied 1~2 hours after finishing drinking
d) The used vaccine vials and utensils should be subjected to disinfection
treatment and are not allowed to dispose freely
8) Specifications: 500 doses/vial, 1,000 doses/vial
9) Storage: it is effective for 18 months stored below -15°C
