PTFE elastic ribbon is a good sealing material made from pure dispersion
PTFE resin through stripe pressing and drawing at high temperatures. It
has a low friction coefficient, good chemical corrosion-resistance and
sealing power and is not liable to harden or hydrolyze. It may be used
at temperatures from -250
oC to +280
oC and is
suitable for the sealing of reaction vessels, turbine generators, and
various mouth-shaped tanks and barrels.
