Polyacrylamide products of anion, cation, non-ion, zwitter-ion with heat resistant
and salt resistant properties are mainly applied to tertiary recovery in an oilfield.
When every metric ton of macromolecule polyacrylamide products are injected
into the oil reservoir, additional 100 - 150 metric tons of crude oil can be produced.
In respect of water treatment, they can be used as flocculating agent and sludge
dehydrant. In the textile and printing and dyeing industries, they can be used
as sizing agent and colorant; while in the paper-making industry, they can be
used as retention aid, filter aid and paper intensifier for the dryness and wetness;
In sugar-refining industry, they can speed up the settlement of fibril in
the cane juice and improve the quality of sugar. In addition, they can be widely
applied to such fields as soil improvement, which are known as additives for hundreds
of industries.
