The pyrophyllite of Mentougou district is high of aluminum, which is unique. It is usually white with a little green or light yellow, with exquisite quality, low rigidity (1 - 2°), density from 2.65 to 2.90g/cm³.
Its biggest characteristic is its superior performance of heat-resistance compared with other pyrophyllite found in China. Under high temperature (over 1,700°C), it still maintains steady physical and chemical properties. That is why this kind of well commended ore has been used most widely in diamond producing, with a ratio of more than 98%.
Pyrophyllite has been widely used in material manufacturing of metallurgy, chemistry, light industry, electrical engineering, ceramics, fire-proofing materials and fire-retardant materials.
The main products we have are: pyrophyllite ore, pyrophyllite powder (main spec.: 12mu (holes per square centimeter), 18mu, 60mu), pyrophyllite powder block (main spec.: 55 x 38, 51 x 35, 55 x 40 x 46 x 9, 39 x 30 x 27 x 7).
