It is the best component of the stevia components and its sweetness is about 300-400 times than cane sugar, but its calories is only 1/300 of cane sugar and its taste is adjacent to cane sugar. It has no bitterness, and tastes refreshing. It is a refined products, and the melting point is 196-198°C, and it stable in acid or alkali products (pH value 3-9).
