DY-008 is a kind of polyalcol, which can be used as a special textured additive in powder coatings for applications to DA, office appliance, playground equipment and other many GI applications, especially IT.
1. Advantages:
a. Be applicable to any powder coating systems such as pure epoxy, hybrid, polyester/TGIC or Primid and PU to provide a special texture finish with fine grained surface
b. Very attractive and consistent texture finish can be obtained when it is compared with other texture additives at the present time
c. Flow modifier and benzoin in powder formulation can be omitted or decreased greatly. Therefore, the cost of powder coating is down probably
d. Even if its usage levels are very low such as 0.8% with other matting fillers, the very attractive texture effect can be obtained
2. Application:
The usage levels are 1-1.5%, based on the total weight of the formulation.
3. Incorporation
DY-008 can be added at the premix stage of powder coating manufacturing and extruded with the other components of formulation by any suitable extruder, then, grinding and sieve passing.
4. Storage:
Keep in the cool and dry place, far away from fire and heat, especially rain or moisture.

Packed by multi-ply paper bags with polyethylene lining
