UV-2 is a new structure UV absorbent, which can absorb the mid and low wavelength of the UV spectrum (UV-B). With the comparison of the traditional hydroxyl instead of the diphenyl ketone, UV-2 shows the higher absorption rate, and farthest provides protection to the photodegradation of the polymer. Meanwhile, it cannot make the polymer bepaint that is the traditional UV absorption beyond achieving. Aside, matching with the hindered amines light stabilized, it can show excellent cooperation effect.
Application:
It can be widely used in the polymer of PC, PS, PVC, and can be used solely or together with the light stabilized. With the colophony making into concentrate, can solve in the solvent and print on the surface of products.
The commending dosage is 0.3%. With 0.3% UV-2 into the 1.2mm PVC material, the UV absorption effect is superior to the traditional light stabilized Tinuvin900 and Cyasorb1164. In the impact polysterol, UV-2 and Tinuvin123 together shows the excellent cooperation effect. UV-2 can be widely used in the polyester lacquer, wooden lacquer, car lacquer, gel agent and so on.
