In 1910, a paddle steamer called the Emeraude was offering unforgettable cruises in Ha Long Bay for visitors to what was then French Indochina. The Emeraude was part of a flotilla owned by the Roque family who had left Bordeaux in 1858 in search of adventure and fortune. Over a period of more than 50 years they found both. After several ups and downs including successful trading and timber business, near bankruptcy and being taken hostage by pirates, the Roque brothers built Emeraude, Perie, Saphir, Rubis and Onyx to ferry passengers and freight along the waterways of Indochina and cruise on magnificent Ha Long Bay.
Following the legend, the first modern steamer Emeraude had been built. Today the Emeraude offers a regular cruise service on board a luxurious replica steamer with 39 cabins meticulously designed to evoke the nostalgic charm of colonial Indochina.
Day 1: Hanoi - Halongbay - Emeraude Cruise:
Pickup by private car/bus at your hotel about 8.00.
Spend 3 hours and half sight seeing country Vietnam on the way to Halong city. Arrive at Emeraude Pier just before 12.00 AM. Welcome by Emeraude staff and embark to the Emeraude cruise via the bridge. Welcome cocktail and check-in on board of the Emeraude cruise.
13.00-16.00: Cruise on the Emeraude on Halong Bay passing by some of the most scenic locations including Yen Ngua, Con Coc mountains and a floating village. Vietnamese buffet lunch is served in the deluxe Emeraude restaurant from 13.00-14.30.
16.00-18.30: Anchor near Trinh Nu & Hang Trong caves. Swimming on the clear water of Titob island 's beach ( transfer by shutle boat) or just at cruise anchor's place, kayaking (if weather permitted) or relax for professional massage
19.00-21.00: Vietnamese buffet dinner is served in the Emeraude dinning room.

07.00-09.00: The Emeraude sail once again through the breathtaking

09.00-09.30: Check out of cabin.
09.30-10.00: Return to Emeraude Pier. Pick-up by our car/bus
And drive back to your hotel in Hanoi. Then you can choose another options to discover Traditional handicraft villages of ceramic Dong Trieu ( Quang Ninh) or ceramic Bat Trang village ( Hanoi), but with additional fees.
